Fitness community and apparel brand Gymshark has announced plans to open its first dedicated gym in Miami.
While we may know them for their activewear in a range of colors and styles, the new venture introduces Gymshark Lifting Club (GSLC) in January of 2027, the company’s first accessible training facility.
News of the brand signing a lease to take over the existing single-story building in Wynwood at 2050 N. Miami Ave was reported by the Commercial Observer last year. The structure spans just under 20,000 square feet and its exterior sports a blue mural by Andrés Cortes with people working out, an American flag and the word “GYMSHARK” stretching across the front and side walls.
About Gymshark
Founded in the UK by Ben Francis back in 2012, Gymshark has grown from humble beginnings to a global fitness community of over 20 million people. And that obsession has remained as the brand has brought its “Lift Miami” weightlifting festival to Miami, drawing over 20,000 attendees.
“This is a huge moment for me personally. It’s about taking everything Gymshark stands for beyond the products we make and creating a physical space for our community to come together,” Francis wrote in an Instagram post where he’s touring the new space. He notes a retail section, changing rooms, lifting and functional fitness areas.
As the opening of Gymshark Lifting Club approaches, you can sign up for updates and founding memberships on their website.
