Each year, New World Symphony takes over Soundscape Park for multiple dazzling nights of free music that marks a beloved fixture on any art lover’s calendar. The orchestral academy has recently announced its 2026-27 WALLCAST® concert series, with seven live performances being broadcast onto the New World Center wall in Miami Beach.
The series opens at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 10 with Beethoven’s revolutionary Ninth Symphony. Artistic Director Stéphane Denève will conduct the NWS Fellows, with soloists Ellie Dehn (soprano), Tamara Mumford (mezzo-soprano), Sean Panikkar (tenor) and Dashon Burton (baritone). Singers from the Master Chorale of South Florida, led by chorus master Brett Karlin, join the orchestra.
The program opens with Notturno, a tribute to NWS co-founder Michael Tilson Thomas featuring flutist Demarre McGill, and includes Mahler’s Adagietto from Symphony No. 5.

Better picture and sound on the wall
Free and open to the public, WALLCAST® concerts have brought thousands of orchestral music fans together at the New World Center since it opened in 2011. Funding from the City of Miami Beach’s General Obligation Bond Program has upgraded the experience with 4K UHD projection and, most recently, an energy-efficient audio upgrade that NWS says improves clarity, depth and dynamics.
You can find more details on the WALLCAST® concert page, and set a reminder so you don’t miss any of these spectacular evenings! Programs, artists and dates may change.
