How to get your Golden Ticket
In order to be eligible for a Golden Ticket, you must be 62 years of age or older and a resident of Miami-Dade County. You can complete this form to join the mailing list or dial 305-499-8755 to request the guide. They’re also available for pick-up at participating Miami-Dade Public Library branches if you prefer to have a physical copy.
To use it, you’ll first want to review the guide to find an event or cultural venue you’d like to visit. For live performances and seated events, you should call the corresponding organization ahead of time to reserve your spot, explicitly mentioning you are using the Golden Ticket as they are available on a first come, first served basis.
In addition to printing one of the self-print tickets or clipping a Golden Ticket coupon from the guide and completing the back with the appropriate information, you must present a photo ID showing proof of age and residency at the venue. Any accompanying guests under 62 or from outside the county will need to purchase standard admission.
