Heads up, Miami — a flock of 200 drones will soar high above downtown Miami with not one, not two, but THREE unique light shows in one day! In a stunning showcase of light and technology, Pixel Swarm Drones will paint the night skies with a symphony of wonder and motion. And the best part? It’s entirely free to attend.
“We are thrilled to bring our cutting-edge drone technology to the heart of Miami, these are Miami’s drones now,” said Pixel Swarm Drones founder Carlos Pena in a release. “These aerial displays represent the perfect fusion of innovation and entertainment, and we can’t wait to share them with the community.”
Whether you’ve seen a drone show in the past or it’s about to be your first time, this is not to be missed. A dazzling display for all ages, look up as choreographed drones fly in coordinated patterns and vibrant visuals.
The upcoming drone shows are planned for Saturday, March 9, with three taking place across the night: at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Each show should be visible from most of downtown, but the clearest views will be from Maurice A. Ferré Park at 1075 Biscayne Blvd, or surrounding buildings. If you plan to catch all the action at the park, you can bring chairs or blankets to sit on and enjoy the show comfortably.
