Changing how we book our theme park weekends and staycations, Brightline has launched its new FLEX fares for passengers traveling to and from Orlando. Designed to offer more flexibility and choice, customers can now buy a ticket for their chosen date without having to worry about change or cancellation fees.
The rail company announced the new option alongside SELECT and SAVER fares for SMART and PREMIUM services.
New fares for if your travel plans change
Perfect for riders whose plans are affected, the new FLEX fare offers full refunds to their original payment method or the ability to change their trip without a change fee. FLEX fares can be modified on the same day at no extra change, or more than 24 hours before departure for just the fare difference.
Additionally, this option includes a complimentary one-way transfer to Miami International Airport (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) via Brightline’s Airport Connector Shuttle. And as for baggage perks, a FLEX ticket includes one large checked bag, two carry-ons and a personal item.
For a limited time on trips booked by December 31, 2026, a SMART FLEX or PREMIUM FLEX purchase will earn passengers two bonus rewards points per dollar spent, getting you to that next free ride even quicker.
How it compares to SELECT and SAVER fares
Not sure which ticket to buy when it comes to your upcoming Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Halloween Horror Nights trip? Compared to FLEX fares, Brightline’s SELECT fares allow cancellations for a 75% Brightline Wallet credit and modifications for a change fee plus the fare difference. It also includes two carry-ons and a personal item.
The most economical of the three options, SAVER is only available in SMART service. Best for solo travelers or those who are fully locked into their schedule, those fares include one carry-on and a personal item, but no seat selection, modifications or refunds upon cancellation.
