Barbie fans, grab your pinkest outfits because the first-ever convention fully dedicated to the world’s most iconic doll is touching down in South Florida! Known as Barbie Dream Fest, the immersive event organized by Mattel, Inc. and Mischief Management will take over the Broward County Convention Center for three days of all things, well, Barbie, and her mission to inspire limitless possibilities.
It’ll bring her universe to life for fans of all ages, whether they grew up with a Barbie DreamHouse or a new generation looking ahead to the next era.
You’ll quite literally step inside Barbie’s world thanks to a life-sized installation of her iconic dream home — recreated room by room — in addition to a high-energy runway where you can showcase your best Barbie-inspired looks. There will also be an ‘80s disco roller rink complete with branded skates and throwback DJ sets, so you can boogie under the neon lights.
The fun doesn’t stop there though… with a “Totally Hair” beauty bar offering visitors complete hair makeovers, a mindful Dream Flow Morning Yoga and a Limitless Dream Wall where fans share their biggest dreams and aspirations. To top things off, a Beyond the Stars exhibit will serve as a cosmic celebration of Astronaut Barbie’s groundbreaking legacy.
“For over 65 years, Barbie has inspired generations to dream big, and this event brings that legacy to life in a completely new and immersive way. We can’t wait to welcome fans into the Barbie world for an unforgettable experience that’s sure to leave them feeling empowered and inspired,” said Julie Freeland, VP of Global Location-Based Entertainment at Mattel.
You can take some time to stroll a bustling exhibition hall with vendors and collectors at the convention, as well as listen to special panels featuring trailblazing women whose journeys embody Barbie’s core message that you can be anything! More details on special guests will be revealed at a later date.
Barbie Dream Fest will take place from March 27 to 29, 2026 at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd in Fort Lauderdale. For more information and tickets, you can visit their official website.
As part of the Barbie Dream Gap Project, the brand is also partnering with Girls Inc. of Greater Miami, Girls on the Run and Step Up to highlight at the event. Additionally, each organization will receive 200 complimentary passes for girls and chaperones to be part of the celebration.
