If you have a sweet tooth, this festival is for you! Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is once again opening its doors for the annual Festival of Chocolate on January 18 and 19. Marking its 18th year, the sweet, two-day event will bring together chocolate makers and lovers for a weekend dedicated to the mouthwatering treat in all its forms.
Everyone is invited to taste their way through decadent desserts, sip on chocolate-themed drinks, learn something new through cooking demos, pick up goodies from artisanal vendors and more.
From a build-your-own chocolate bar studio to delicious bourbon and chocolate pairings, your tastebuds are sure to be delighted!
Dozens of premier local and international chocolatiers will set up shop at the festival’s The House of Chocolate, and there will be plenty of food vendors offering small-batch treats and unique flavors to choose from.
The family-friendly celebration will also feature live music throughout the garden while the little ones enjoy bubble dance parties and Sweet Stories with Mrs. Cacao. They can also compete in the Chocolate Olympics, which typically includes games like cacao sack and spoon balance races, and a donut toss.
