
For the fourth consecutive year, the Formula 1 Crypto.com Grand Prix will be back in the city with thousands of racing enthusiasts and partygoers expected to flock to Miami Gardens. One of the most anticipated stops on the F1 calendar, it’s a chance to not only see the on-track action, but head to the hottest parties, fan festivals and more!
From the basics, like where to see the race, to insider info on all the best performances taking place, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Miami Grand Prix:
When is Formula 1 in Miami this year?
The Miami Grand Prix is set for May 2 to 4, 2025. On Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3, drivers will practice and be qualifying on the track before the main race. Then the world’s top drivers and teams will go head-to-head on Sunday, May 4. The official race kicks off at 4 p.m. local time.

Where is the F1 race taking place?
The Miami GP will be held at the Hard Rock Stadium, located at 347 Don Shula Dr Suite 102 in Miami Gardens. With this being the fourth straight year the race is held at the same location, this year’s track won’t be much different. All the action takes place at the Miami International Autodrome, a temporary street circuit surrounding the stadium, and is 3.36 miles (5.41km) long and features 19 corners:
Where can I watch F1 in Miami?
You’ll find plenty of spots to watch the race trackside, with multiple grandstands promising incredible views, from the Turn 1 Grandstands to the oh-so-popular Beach Grandstands.
If you won’t be at the event, you can still catch the best views by making a pit stop at a local watch party:
- Official Race Viewing Party at The Plaza Coral Gables with Heineken & Celosa Tequila: May 4, from 1 to 7 p.m.
- F1 viewing party at Tala Beach with live grill stations and DJ sets, South Beach: May 4, from 3 to 7 p.m.
- F1 watch parties at Grails Miami, Wynwood
If you’d much rather catch it on TV from the comfort of your couch, all qualifying sessions and races will be broadcast on ESPN. Live races will also be broadcast on ABC. Streaming via ESPN+ will also be available.
Who will perform at the Miami GP?
None other than Mr. 305 — Pitbull — will kick off the festivities in style with an official concert at the Hard Rock Live on May 1st. The following day, Kygo will take to the Hollywood stage for a show on May 2nd. The two artists are expected to perform at the Hard Rock Beach Club during the race, with more guests to be announced.
If you’re looking for more nightlife around the city, E11EVEN will host artists for Miami Race Week, with the following expected to perform: Rick Ross (April 30), Diplo (May 1), Nelly (May 2), 50 Cent (May 3) and Afrojack (May 4).

Great news! A variety of ticket options are still available on the official F1 Miami GP website, along with resale options via third party sellers. Those who want to roam the grounds can opt for a Campus Pass, which are also available on the website.
