Between the massive neon sign glowing atop the Kaseya Center, real-life Burger Shot pop-ups and Wynwood art installations, Miami is starting to look more and more like Vice City by the day. Now, the ultimate crossover is taking one of the city’s most iconic nightlife destinations by storm.
Famous 24/7 ultraclub E11EVEN is transforming into NINE1NINE, the fictional hotspot featured in Grand Theft Auto VI. The month-long takeover running from November 6 through December 6 will kick things off with a grand opening celebration featuring rapper and Miami native, Flo Rida.
Then as the hype grows around the game’s launch on November 19, the club will keep the energy high with an official launch party on Friday, November 20. They’re keeping the headliner under wraps for now, but given their history of hosting global superstars, you can expect to hear about a big name soon.
For the duration of the takeover, E11EVEN’s neon signage across the property will be reimagined as NINE1NINE. You’ll also get an up-close look at real-world versions of some of the most recognizable vehicles from GTA VI on display at the club.
And if you want to flex your Vice City status, limited-edition E11EVEN x NINE1NINE hats and additional merchandise will be available both at the venue and online.
“E11EVEN was born in Miami, so there’s something especially meaningful about seeing our city’s nightlife reflected in the world of Grand Theft Auto VI’s Vice City. As we always say, all roads lead to E11EVEN, but for this one and for GTA fans everywhere, they lead to NINE1NINE,” said Dennis DeGori, concept creator and co-founder of the nightclub, in a statement.
