Sweetie darling! An “Absolutely Fabulous” themed bingo night is making its way to R House for an evening filled with glitz, glamour and absolute fabulousness. Inspired by the British comedy set in the world of fashion and PR in the 90s, the legendary Sandy Sanchez and Courtney Just – who star as the infamous Patsy and Edina – will be the evening’s hosts.
Beginning 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, prepare for a night of great laughs, bingo fun and the chance to win some special prizes. Those who arrive early can refresh with half priced cocktails off the restaurant’s happy hour menu, including the Spritz Spritz Spritz, award-Winning La Reina Margarita and I Love Lychee.
With happy hour running from 4 to 7 p.m., there’s also half-off wines, $7 well cocktails and snacks like $1 chicken wings, $5 charcuterie bites and $7 short rib empanadas.
Admission for drag bingo at R House is free and players can purchase a $10 single bingo card or three cards for $20 if they want to play multiple rounds. All proceeds will go to the SAVE Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission since 1993 is to protect, promote and defend equality for the LGBTQ community in South Florida.
