We all still miss the Wynwood Hub. As a hangout that offered food, fitness and cultural events – to name a few – it was one of the spots of the city.
After closing its doors in May 2019, former attendees have been waiting for what comes next. But, they won’t have to for much longer. [Main Image: The Doral Yard].
A new project from those who gave you Wynwood Yard, with a new location, is almost ready to open. Named Project Doral Yard, the fresh hub is scheduling phase one of its new opening for February, with a second planned for fall 2020.

Dubbed as a “community gathering space designed to foster local entrepreneurship and culture”, the idea is dreamed up by Yard Hospitality and Place Project. It claims it will expand on the Wynwood concept and will boast a 20,000 square foot area. This will include three zones: The Backyard, The Hub and a restaurant.
Phase one will see the birth of the Doral Yard mini-food hall, event space and a full bar indoors. Most importantly, it will also see a small live music space open for performances.
Phase two, set for this fall, will see the opening of The Backyard. This will be an outdoor food and entertainment space decorated with plants and trees, with a larger space for live music events. It will also be the main setting of the Anchor restaurant.
