The new year is all about setting new goals, and what better way to kick off your 2026 resolutions than with a weekend of fitness and music? Get ready to hit the pavement as global DJ Diplo brings his first Run Club event of the year to where it all began. Miami is where Diplo’s Run Club was born after he completed the 2022 Miami Half Marathon and ran straight from the finish line to a club set.
This Saturday, participants will have the chance to do the same with a morning 5K along Biscayne Bay before ending with a post-race concert headlined by the artist himself. Here’s all you need to know if you’re planning to attend:
When and where is Diplo’s Run Club in Miami?
The Miami event is scheduled for this Saturday, January 17, at Maurice A. Ferré Park. Check-in opens at 7 a.m. and the 5K race officially begins at 9 a.m. The route is scenic, with runners looping through downtown Miami as they take in sweeping waterfront views and the city skyline.
Immediately following the race, the park will transform into a music festival with sets by COCO & BREEZY and Diplo.
Beyond the music, the finish line will serve as an entrance to a “wellness village” featuring recovery amenities like cold plunges, foot massages and delicious bites to refuel. Impossible Foods will be posted up with a curated, protein-heavy menu including Sweet Heat Impossible Sliders and South Beach Impossible Nuggets with cilantro lime ranch.
How can I register?
Registration for the race is currently open, with concert-only passes starting around $52, while the full 5K Experience begins at $120. For those looking for a VIP 5K Experience ($205), perks include exclusive viewing areas, private bars and a custom bib. Another notable perk of VIP is that participants do not have to pick up their race packet in advance.
Miami has plenty of other exciting music events coming up, including AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! at Lummus Park this weekend, featuring Calvin Harris and John Summit, as well as Ultra Music Festival later in March.
