Many themes inspired Da Vinci’s creations. Robotics, civil engineering, military, art and so much more impacted the polymath’s ingenious works. At this new exhibit coming to Miami in Spring 2024, you’ll see replicas of DaVinci’s life size robot, the first military tank ever, spring-powered car and many other inventions. Take in the world’s first helicopter, gliders, parachute, bicycle and a plethora of machines that made day-to-day life easier.
The Italian scientist’s creations were helpful in many sectors — from mighty war machines to incredible hydraulic technology — but his hand-drawn notes and designs of these machines have never been published, until he died in the 1500s. Da Vinci: Machines & Robotics reveals these most influential ideas that changed the course of the world as we know it.
The exhibit has charmed San Diego before heading to Miami in the spring.
James G. Kidrick, president and chief executive officer of the San Diego Air and Space Museum has said of the experience:
Leonardo was the ultimate innovator and we’re a better world for it. Don’t miss this exhibit anywhere it goes!
