Love isn’t always forever, but your body ink is. If you have a permanent reminder of your ex on your body — such as matching tattoos, their initials or their face — you can apply to get it covered up for free this Valentine’s Day! Partnering up with Tinder’s ‘Ink Twice’ campaign, South Beach’s Inked Miami is offering to help give your skin a fresh start.
According to a study by Tinder, more than half of singles (52%) have tattoos they’d like to cover or remove due to associations with former partners. And 43% of surveyed singles say dating someone with a tattoo from a past relationship would be a dealbreaker. So if you’re looking to break up with your tattoo, this is your chance, as Tinder has launched its Ink Twice campaign across cities like New York, Los Angeles and Austin, in addition to Miami.
To see if you’re eligible for a cover-up, you can learn more about the campaign and submit your application here by February 16. You’ll be asked to give details about the ink you wish to cover up and the story behind it. The application will be sent directly to the studio and those selected will be contacted for a consultation on February 20.
Inked Miami, the sister studio to Inked NYC, is soon making its way to South Beach for its grand opening. The location will offer the same professional artistry and state-of-the-art experience that its Manhattan shop is known for. You can check them out on their website.
