It’s only a matter of time before Miami starts to welcome the most wonderful time of the year with all its glittery lights and Christmassy events! Among them is the city’s festive Christmas Wonderland park, as it reopens for a third year this November. It’ll transform over 14 acres of Tropical Park into a wintery world where everything is light up in twinkling lights. Seriously, we mean everything!

Christmas Wonderland is known to feature six themed holiday worlds, leading guests through a half-mile trail of amazing lighting displays. You can expect HoliDade, a celebration of our neighborhoods and culture, and Sweet Street presented by Amanda Demanda, a candy-colored wonderland filled with all the holiday confections you can think of. Families can also experience “snow” in Arctic Delight and see oversized toys entertain the little ones with rides like the Kids’ Wheel at Toy Town.

At the end of the holiday trail is a massive Christmas tree that illuminates the entire park in the jolliest of lights, thanks to their Light Up the Night synchronized music spectacular. Once an hour, the themed worlds sync up for an incredible combination of lights and music.

Additionally, visitors can get their adrenaline pumping with more than 50 carnival rides, included in paid admission. And yes, North America’s largest traveling ferris wheel, which towers at a whopping 150 feet, will also make its return!

Beyond the lights, returning favorites at the park include the 3D-mapped immersive IG’loo 360-Dome, Home for the Holidays adoption program with Miami-Dade Animal Services and local food trucks alongside seasonal brews from this year’s beer partner, Cervecería La Tropical.
What’s new for 2025?
There’s a lot to look forward to this year, including the new Firework Fridays, with the weekly fireworks display beginning at 10 p.m. For New Year’s Eve, a 9 pm. countdown and fireworks show will also bring families together before it’s time to put the little ones to bed.
Live shows will continue to take place nightly, including an aerial performance led by Santa’s reindeer keeper, known as the Sleigh and Sway Spectacular. A Santa stunt double will also be launched into the skies in a live “human cannonball” performance, dubbed Santa’s Sky Shot.

Indeed, this has got to be a must-visit this holiday season! Christmas Wonderland will be open to visitors from November 13 to January 4, 2026. You can learn more on their website.
