What could be better than cruising around the Bahamas? Cruising around the Bahamas tasting different cuisines and learning from a star-studded lineup of chefs, of course! Chefs Making Waves, a first-of-its-kind, all-inclusive culinary cruise, is setting sail next year from Miami to the breezy islands of the Caribbean.
Over the course of four nights, guests will hop aboard a Norwegian Pearl, a 965-foot long award-winning Jewel class ship, to experience walk-around tastings, cooking demonstrations, curated dinners, late-night parties, brunches, lunches, mixology experiences and more.
Looking to sharpen your culinary skills? Grab a seat at one of the cooking demos on boars and learn how to make pasta like a pro and bake like a boss. Want to enjoy a beachside barbecue? Look no further than the sands of Norwegian’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay, where the boat will dock.
The gastronomic experiences will be led by award-winning Food Network chefs, TV personalities, cookbook authors, food activists and restaurateurs, including Michael Symon, Robert Irvine, Aarón Sánchez, Scott Conant, Marc Murphy, Buddy Valastro, Andrew Zimmern, Anne Burrell, Marcus Samuelsson, Maneet Chauhan and many more.
Guests can look forward to chef collabs every night in the dining room followed by post-dinner events including interactive culinary games and food-inspired movie screenings. Plus, the pool deck and garden cafe will be home to late-night takeover events with decadent sweets and sounds of the ‘70s at the Dessert Disco; Mexican street tacos to savory samosas and everything in between can be found at International Street Eats; and guests can experience the dancing, culture and cuisine of Cuba at Cabana Cubana.
Just like a regular cruise, guests will also have access to the ship’s concierge service, tranquil spa, dazzling casino, unforgettable nightlife options and countless bars and lounges.
The ultimate foodie voyage is presented by Sixthman, a company known for curating unforgettable experiences on sand and sea such as The Rock Boat, Cayamo, and many others – who teamed up with Agency 21 Consulting and Entertainment Benefits Group.
“Our goal is to provide guests with an immersive culinary experience unlike anything they’ve ever experienced before,” said Jeff Cuellar, Vice President of Sixthman Partnerships. “We believe that food is an important part of any vacation experience, and we’re excited to bring together some of the most talented tastemakers in the industry aboard to offer guests the opportunity to indulge in world-class cuisine while enjoying all the amenities and entertainment that Norwegian Cruise Line has to offer.”
