The Florida Panthers are back in the Stanley Cup Final for the second year in a row, and if you’ve already secured tickets and are stressing about how you’re getting to the arena, Broward County Transit is rolling out a convenient transportation option: Panthers Express Shuttles.
On Saturday, June 8 and Monday, June 10 for Games 1 and 2, Cats fans will be able to park for free in Plantation and hop aboard a shuttle that will get them to the Amerant Bank Arena and back.
Free parking lots will be located at the Government Center West on University Drive, while buses pick passengers up every hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. After the games, returning services will start at 10 p.m. and “will continue picking up until all passengers have been returned to Government Center West,” according to the announcement by Broward County Transit.
The shuttle fare is $2 per person each way, which can be paid in cash or through the transit app, and is a massive game changer compared to arena prices. Parking costs during last year’s final were around $100 per car, which fans took to social media to voice their frustrations about.
Cost-effective, reliable and we don’t have to worry about traffic? Sign us up! Panthers Express Shuttles will run for all Panthers home games, including 5 and 7, if necessary. Drop-offs at the arena will be at the Express Bus Park & Ride lot inside Gate 7.
Go Cats!
