All aboard!
Riding to Aventura and Boca Raton is going to be a breeze, now that Brightline has added the two stops to its already growing rail network stopping in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.
Following ribbon-cutting ceremonies to welcome the two stations, the Miami-based intercity rail company will begin passenger services today, Dec. 21, and one-way fares start as low as $10 to commemorate the openings.
The Aventura station is located off Biscayne Boulevard, across from Aventura Mall, while the Boca Raton station is 101 NW 4th St., near Mizner Park and across from the downtown library. Both stations will have running trains that stop at Aventura and Boca Raton every two hours, while trains that go from Miami to Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach will run hourly.
“This station is an important piece of our plan to bring commuter rail service to the Northeast of our county,” said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “Miami-Dade’s investment in this station finally brings a new, fast, and convenient connection that is our first important step in providing relief from traffic while slashing our carbon footprint from our transportation system – the largest contributor to climate change in Miami-Dade.”
The Aventura Station
Brightline’s Aventura station is 34,000 square feet and is located at 19796 West Dixie Highway, Miami FL 33180. It features 240 parking spaces, a bus drop-off for Miami-Dade Transit passengers, newly landscaped and hardscape areas and a pedestrian skybridge that transports guests from the vertical transportation towers to the train platform.

Brightline is currently designing a new pedestrian bridge which will connect the platform to the Aventura Mall, but in the meantime, a complimentary shuttle is offering service to and from the mall 14 hours a day.
Travel time between Aventura and Miami will take about 20 minutes, with discounted rides available through the Brightline website and app as part of the company’s agreement with Miami-Dade Transit.
The Boca Raton Station
Brightline’s 22,000 square foot Boca Raton station is located on a 1.8-acre site at 101 NW 4th St, Boca Raton, FL 33432. It features a 455-space parking garage which will service Brightline’s guests and visitors to the library, who will have dedicated, covered, and complimentary spaces on the first floor. It also offers two complimentary, on-demand EV carts to destinations in downtown Boca Raton. Travel between Boca and MiamiCentral will be approximately 60 minutes.
