A stunning new art installation has bloomed in Coral Gables just in time for spring! The five-piece sculptures, entitled Bouquet, are part of a national touring exhibition by acclaimed Québec scenographer Olivier Landreville.
The larger-than-life florals reside at the Shops at Merrick Park, where visitors can sit at the star-shaped base of each flower and turn a handwheel. This will rotate translucent petals overhead, casting colorful, moving light and shadows on the ground while also providing some welcome shade during a Miami May.

A short interactive quiz accompanies the pieces, inviting guests to discover which of the five “bouquets” reflect their personal style.

Bouquet, co-designed by GGP and powered by Creos, is the fourth public interactive installation by Landreville, whose career spans theatre, opera, circus and dance.

The Shops at Merrick Park is the first stop of the installation’s five-city tour, which includes locations in North Carolina, Las Vegas, suburban Chicago and Texas.
You can see the only Florida stop in the Courtyard of the open-air shopping destination from now through May 28th. It is free and open to the public during regular hours.

What’s more, there are sweeping floral arches scattered throughout the Shops for walk-through photo moments!
