There’s a reason why British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori has coined himself “the architect of joy,” and you’ll feel it as soon as you enter his bold cafe at Superblue Miami.
If you’ve ever stepped into a local cafe to find it bore a striking resemblance to an Apple Store, you’re not alone. Thankfully, we know the perfect vibrant spot for a caffeine fix without white walls and clear acrylic chairs. Designed by multidisciplinary artist Yinka Ilori, Blue Cafe at Superblue embraces bold colors and patterns to create a unique, cheerful environment.

The open-air cafe draws inspiration from Nigerian design and Miami architecture, perfectly capturing the city’s lively energy. Color and pattern aren’t the only items on the menu at the Blue Cafe – grab a specialty drink, signature empanada, and make yourself at home!

Superblue Miami serves as the site of this whimsical cafe. While tickets are not required to visit the experiential art center’s cafe or Concept Store, it’s certainly worth securing them if you have time to explore the installations.
From innovative digital displays to interactive biometric artwork, Superblue awakens the senses through color, sound, and light. Learn more here.
