If you’re searching for a bit of water to cool off this summer, especially ones with amazing skyline vistas, Miami has plenty of hotel pools that can be visited with a day pass or a room key! Whether you’re planning a staycation or your next city getaway, grab your sunscreen and a cocktail because it’s time to take your pool day to the next level.
Here are the best rooftop pools in Miami:
Mayfair House Hotel & Garden

Make your way up to the crystalline pool at this Coconut Grove hotel for a refreshing swim, dreamy landscape views and piña coladas from Calypso-styled bar Sipsip! The Slim Aarons photograph aesthetic-meets-modern yet classic vibe of the rooftop comes to life with brightly colored umbrellas, a vibrant mural by Angelika Wallace-Whitfield and divine daybeds for lounging.
Novotel Miami Brickell

One of our favorite spots for weekend lounging, Novotel’s rooftop pool commands incredible vistas of Brickell and sparkling Biscayne Bay. You can find the tropical retreat on the 12th floor and enjoy refreshing bites and crafty cocktails from their Vista Pool Bar when hunger strikes. If you’re looking for a true rooftop pool party, their weekly Sunset Sessions bring EDM music and vibes before the sun goes down.
Kimpton EPIC Hotel

Floating 16 stories above downtown Miami, the Kimpton EPIC pool deck serves as a wondrous open-air oasis. We’re talking two shimmering pools lined with private cabanas and daybeds while high rises surround you. It provides the perfect mix of bustling city energy and tropical relaxation, complete with delicious dinners at the adjoined Area 31 restaurant.
Moxy Miami South Beach

Set atop the second floor of the Moxy is a 72-foot pool you can easily spend the whole day in and wave to those in the lobby below you through a window at the bottom of it! Relax in a shaded daybed on their fantastic terrace while enjoying poolside service from the lushly-planted Serena restaurant. There’s also a shallow lounging pool on the hotel’s eighth-floor that comes with 360-degree panoramic views, accessible to hotel guests.
Dua Miami, Autograph Collection

Perched high on the rooftop of Dua Miami, Autograph Collection (formerly SLS Brickell), you’ll find not one, but two sparkling pools and plenty of chaise lounges so that you can spend your entire day catching some rays while taking in the stunning views of downtown Miami and the bay. You’ll also find a jacuzzi and cold plunge while enjoying poolside service.
Arlo Wynwood

You may find some incredible artwork and sky-high parties at Arlo Wynwood, but it’s also excellent stay with a 76-foot-long pool that offers unparalleled views of Miami. Catch a toasty tan while you choose from delectable salads, guac or wings on their Rooftop Pool menu, or opt for a cabana (which features sofa seating, TV and a mini fridge) if you’re wanting some privacy.
THesis Hotel

Offering panoramic views over the Gables, the third-floor pool at THesis Hotel is perfect for leisurely poolside days. It sits above a beautiful tree canopy and has a poolside bar so that you can have your sips in between dips. While you’re there, make sure to stop by Mamey, the on-site restaurant led by award-winning chef Niven Patel.
The Betsy Hotel

If you want to escape the typical South Beach party scene without actually stepping away from Ocean Drive, The Betsy’s rooftop pool is your sanctuary. Situated between the ocean and the Art Deco District skyline, this tranquil pool is the perfect setting for the hotel’s morning yoga sessions or a quiet afternoon with a book.
The Elser Hotel

Spanning 132 feet, this waterfront pool offers pristine views of Biscayne Bay. In fact, it couldn’t be any closer to Bayside Marketplace and the Kaseya Center! The sprawling 19,000-square-foot sun deck features a poolside bar for tempting libations, a 16-foot LED screen, expansive lawn perfect for outdoor celebrations and an abundance of other amenities that will make it difficult to leave.
The Gabriel South Beach

Just steps away from the beach, this Ocean Drive favorite blends Art Deco modernism with tropical allure. It boasts two pools, one of which overlooks the Atlantic coastline and features a show-stopping glass bottom. Guests can spend the day poolside, sipping on delicious cocktails and snacking on light bites from the hotel’s five-star Mediterranean restaurant, Meet Dalia.
