If you’re looking to celebrate authentic Irish culture and heritage and, of course, enjoy a well poured Guinness or some classic fare, there’s a vast variety of options here in the 305. Many of our favorites will also be holding St. Patty’s Day specials and parties this year, but we’re here to round-up the best Irish pubs in the city no matter the day. So grab a stool and get into the spirit by scrolling through some of Miami’s luckiest charms:
1. JohnMartin’s, Coral Gables
Nestled on Miracle Mile, JohnMartin’s is a quintessential Irish pub with a vast selection of Irish whiskey, craft beer and other spirits alongside a menu of authentic Irish and traditional American dishes. It was founded in the ’80s by friends John Clarke and Martin Lynch shortly after they moved to Miami from Ireland, but unfortunately shut down during the pandemic in 2020. It has since reopened under new management, Breakwater Hospitality Group’s Emi Guerra and Alex Mantecon in partnership with Erick Passo, continuing its legacy for years to come.

2. The Auld Dubliner, Downtown
With its Irish memorabilia-filled interiors and authentic fare, this family-owned and operated pub is a go to in the Magic City. Especially if you want to get away from your average Miami bar. For a pint of Guinness or fine whiskey, sports viewing, live music and a whole lot of good conversation, this is the spot to head to.

3. Mike’s At Venetia, Downtown
One of Mike’s biggest pulls is that it is located on the rooftop of an apartment building near the Venetian Causeway. So if a dive bar is what you’re looking for, with fair priced pub fare and late-night drinks to pair with views of the skyline, then this is your scene. Family-run by Mike and Norma Shelow, Mike’s came to life in 1989 and it took no time to became a favorite with locals!

4. Finnegan’s Way, Miami Beach
Set along Ocean Drive, this relaxed Irish restaurant is a great place to catch a game in Miami. There’s dozens of TVs, a pool table, a vast menu full of American and Irish comfort food, in addition to a 4 to 7 p.m. happy hour with half priced drinks. Depending on your mood, sit indoors for a traditional pub atmosphere or on the sidewalk for some fun people-watching.
Where: 1344 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139
5. Abbey Brewing Company, Miami Beach
If the hustle and bustle of Ocean Drive isn’t your scene, then make your way to the Abbey for some house-made brews. Serving patrons since 1995, this cozy pub is known for its impressive lineup of beers — from IPAs to stouts, including a few of their own — whiskeys, cocktails and more. Pair your drink with some friendly competition by playing some pool or darts while you’re there.
