Beginning today, August 1 through September 30, Miami Spice is back for its 21st year with tons of discounted menus to try out from some of the finest restaurants in the 305.
Organized by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), the annual restaurant promotion offers prix-fixe menus such as $28 lunch and brunch options, as well as $45 and $60 dinner specials. It’s no surprise locals and visitors alike look forward to it every year!
So with more than 200 participating restaurants, we know how difficult it can be to narrow it down and ultimately decide where to dine. That’s why we created the ultimate list of some of the best spots to look out for during this year’s Miami Spice:
1. COTE Miami, Miami Design District
We’re starting off with a recently-awarded MICHELIN star restaurant AND they’re Miami Spice first-timers. Originally based in New York City, this stylized Korean steakhouse opened fairly recently in 2021. They are offering a $28 three-course lunch that includes your choice of a Waldorf salad or steak tartare and limited edition fried chicken or optimus prime beef sandwich. For an additional $12 per person, you can get a prime hanger steak and 45+ dry aged ribeye grilled table side.

2. Bakan, Wynwood
Located in the heart of the city’s most creative neighborhood Wynwood, Bakan transports you to Mexico with its earthy, artsy space and a variety of authentic dishes, as well as its mezcal and tequila offerings. For seven days a week, Bakan will be offering a three-course $28 lunch and $45 dinner. Menu highlights include ceviche Bakan, hongos y rajas, poblanas quesadilla, short rib mole coloradito, an authentic cheesecake con cajeta, flan de coco, and more!

3. Peacock Garden, Coconut Grove
This secret lush garden and local staple is known for its raw bar and seafood selections, as well as its comfort food classics. With this year’s $45 dinner menu, guests can experience this extravagant menu with the best deal there is, from classic French onion soup and a Mediterranean octopus to a 10 oz skirt steak, and cacio e pepe.

4. Fiola Miami, Coral Gables
This fine dining must-try is known to bring the cuisine and culture of Italy to Coral Gables and for Miami Spice, it’s bringing a $28 three-course lunch menu, $60 dinner menu and $28 Sunday brunch menu. Order from their peach capers salad, cobia ceviche, colors of the garden, Roman shell carbonara, cauliflower steak, spaghetti Aglio e Olio, eggplant parmigiana, and much more.

5. Swan, Miami Design District
For those who have always wanted to experience all that this sophisticated gem has to offer while on a budget, their Miami Spice menu is the one for you! Enjoy the best of Miami’s Design District with flavors such as the Swan caesar, summer truffle tortellini, pistachio pizza, and a selection of the sweetest desserts! For Miami Spice, the dining destination offers a $28 lunch, $28 Sunday (and Saturday!) brunch, and $45 dinner.

6. Back Door Monkey, Wynwood
This Wynwood staple is a jungle oasis with a unique 1940s war-themed setting. Its gastronomical $45 three-course dinner is complete with crowd favorites. It includes (but is not limited to) a choice of tuna, and octopus ceviche, BDM Picanha steak and passion fruit panna cotta.

7. Juvia, Miami Beach
For Miami Spice, the white-and-purple decked out Juvia will be offering a delicious $60 three-course dinner for guests to enjoy while taking in the amazing rooftop views of Miami Beach, with options like the salmon tiradito, pork belly harumaki, branzino a lo macho, New York strip steak, and more!

8. Hutong, Brickell
Get your hands on this fine dining destination’s Northern Chinese favorites for $28 lunch or $60 dinner such as spiced peking duck salad, Mapo chicken or tofu, ginger chocolate mousse and more; with the option to add extra side dishes and make their meal extra special with a half peking duck. Hutong has locations in Hong Kong, Beijing, and London, making Miami one of its few U.S. locations so this needs to be on your must-visit restaurant list!

9. Red Rooster, Overtown
In the heart of Overtown, alive with history and soul, this recently-awarded MICHELIN Bib Gourmand restaurant is giving you a taste of their Southern comfort food with $28 lunch and $45 dinner. The menus include greens and grains, deviled eggs, fried yardbird, roasted Florida snapper, mac and greens, Dom’s crispy bird sandwich, wagyu Dawadawa steak for an upcharge of $15, and many more.

Transport your senses to a Mediterranean kitchen for $28 lunch and $60 dinner at this contemporary spot serving up Bucatini Baba Ganoush pasta, pork tenderloin, pork tenderloin, and much more! TUR Kitchen relies on fresh ingredients and stunning plate presentations.

11. Café La Trova, Little Havana
This is yet another MICHELIN Guide recommended restaurant on this list. Truly the best of the best! The lively Café La Trova will be offering a three-course $45 dinner for Miami Spice attendees to try the Cuban restaurant, with options like ropa vieja, chicken fricassee, octopus, plantain & coconut crusted shrimp, fried calamari, whole fried snapper, grass fed ribeye, braised oxtail, lechon asado, picadillo de carne and vegan picadillo, and more.

12. KÓMMA, Miami Beach
Take a seat in the beautiful garden area or spacious indoor bar of Miami’s newest Mediterranean hotspot, KÓMMA and choose from their decadent $60 dinner selection of an arugula beet salad, pan seared octopus, shrimp, lamb chops, Chilean sea bass, chicken kebab, baklava cheesecake, baked rice pudding, and more.

13. The Key Club, Coconut Grove
This is actually The Key Club’s first Miami Spice! For $28 brunch and $45 dinner, enjoy delectable classic bites from this classic American bar and grill with a twist such as spicy tuna roll, black truffle omelette, Jam Mama BBQ baby back ribs, and more; as well as unlimited rosé (an extra $38) and sommelier wine ($32) pairings.

14. Dragonfly Izakaya & Fish Market, Doral
Inspired by the Japanese Tsukiji Fish Market, this Japanese spot’s only “catch” is the food on your plate. For Miami Spice, they have both a $45 and $60 dinner menu to choose from, including pork and shrimp bao buns, bigeye tuna tataki, wagyu nigiri, skirt steak yakisoba, black dragon roll, big boss roll, and more. Additionally, Dragonfly offers a three-course $28 lunch menu as well, with pork gyoza, classic edamame, shrimp & vegetable tempura, a mango tango roll, bomb roll, and much more. You can finish it all off with some mochi ice cream!

15. Sexy Fish, Brickell
The London-based Sexy Fish made its way to Brickell’s financial district last year and it’s been all the rave, from the delectable Asian-inspired menus and themed cocktails to extravagant artwork all over its interior. Luckily for us, the restaurant is offering a tantalizing $28 lunch menu with highlights such as bang bang vegetable salad, burrata & kimchi, spicy yellowtail maki, avocado & asparagus donburi, steamed sea bass, crispy chicken & creamy nuoc Cham, and more.

16. Strawberry Moon, Miami Beach
Decked in Art Deco pinks and lagoon blues, welcome to the city’s contemporary, high-energy Mediterranean restaurant offering Miami Spice dinner throughout the months. Enjoy a decadent three-course $45 dinner tasting menu with standouts including Yellowtail sashimi with tomato vinaigrette and Serrano chilis. Sommelier’s wine pairing is available for an additional $32.

17. Mareva 1939, Miami Beach
Situated at the National Hotel overlooking the eye-catching blue pool, Mareva features a sharing menu of traditional and dynamic Spanish dishes with a twist. On their $60 dinner menu is your choice of endive and boquerones salad, grilled artichokes, and Spanish potato salad for an appetizer. Then, there’s pork rib eye, pan seared branzino, and wild mushroom and artichoke paella for an entree. To top it all off with dessert, you can pick a manchego cheese flan or a tarta de Santiago.

18. Root & Bone, South Miami

19. PLANTA Queen, Coconut Grove
Finding fully vegan options can be difficult enough already, but we’ve got you covered! For Miami Spice, PLANTA Queen has curated a special $28 lunch and $45 dinner menu featuring tasty vegan bites that even the biggest carnivore foodies can’t resist, such as unagi eggplant, bao sliders, mapo tofu, Singapore noodles, Vietnamese coffee sundae, and more. You seriously won’t believe these options are vegan!

20. American Social, Brickell
On Saturdays and Sundays until 4 p.m., guests can enjoy their favorite restaurant and bar overlooking the Miami River’s best plates with their $28 brunch and $60 dinner menus. From mouthwatering classics like the goat cheese croquettes and bone-in ribeye to the sweetest chocolate flourless cake, guests will be sure to savor every bite. Refreshing cocktails like Fifth & Lavender are also on the menu for $14.

21. Kosushi, Miami Beach
Making its Miami Spice debut this year since opening in 2019, the five-time Michelin star-winning sushi restaurant will be offering a unique dinner menu for $60, allowing guests to experience some of their most authentic and contemporary Japanese dishes. Start with edamame, miso soup, or fresh yuzu watercress salad, and move along to their yuzu Hamachi, miso seabass skewers, wagyu gyoza, and sautéed mixed mushrooms. For a third course, you’ll be served a three-piece Nigiri selection featuring their tuna foie, madai jelly, and salmon truffle. Then complete the journey with their Kosushi king maki roll and choose from two flavors of their daily mochi selection.

For the first time, this vibrant Chino-Latino hotspot is participating in Miami Spice and featuring some of their top hits along with new spins on a few favorites: duck chifa lo mein, char sui roasted pork belly and Chinese bocadito donuts. The high-energy Asian fusion concept within Brickell City Centre is offering a three-course $28 lunch and $45 dinner.

Bringing its Thai-Inspired American BBQ cuisine to the heart of Brickell City Centre, EST.33 offers a unique dining experience complete with an in-house brewery serving over a dozen beer selections. For Miami Spice this year, the restaurant will offer a $28 lunch menu including popular entrees like their fresh papaya salad, chicken satay, mushroom spring roll, or crispy ribs. Their $45 dinner menu offers other unique dishes including their steamed dumplings, crab croquettes, and grilled eggplant salad among others for appetizers, and their famous mango coconut sticky rice as a different option for dessert. To top it all off, those ordering from the Miami Spice menu can add a special beverage option for $10 which includes unlimited EST.33 crafted beers!
