Miami’s iconic Latin Jazz club, Ball & Chain, is now open!
Atención Miamians! You might want to dust off those dancing shoes because chisme has it Little Havana’s famous Ball & Chain nightclub and restaurant has finally reopened!
The famous Latin club shared a post announcing its return earlier on Wednesday, October 20. “We are so excited to welcome back our patrons from near and far, and encourage them to check our social media handles in the coming days for an official opening date. We cannot wait to salsa once again at The World Famous Ball & Chain!,” reads the Instagram post.
Located on Calle Ocho, Ball & Chain is known for its midnight conga line, salsa dancing, live entertainment, and signature cocktails including world-famous mojitos, the Calle Ocho Old Fashioned and the Pastelito Daiquiri. Now, Ball & Chain is finally inviting visitors back in with live music seven days a week and a spanking new cocktail menu, and even more exciting programming.
The popular venue will now be playing host to the Ball & Chain trio, a daytime band playing daily from noon to 6 p.m., followed by renowned percussionist Michael Cruz who will be taking to the stage daily from 6 to 9 p.m.
The club will also continue hosting free salsa lessons every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 9 .m.. The iconic pineapple stage and outdoor patio will be reopening later in the year.
Ball & Chain will also be opening daily for lunch and diner during which guests will be able to enjoy Cuban classics such as Ropa Vieja, Chicken Fricassee and Camarones Enchilado. Diners can opt for handheld bocadillos like the Calle Ocho Burger and the Medianoche Sandwich, or enjoy a variety of tapas including Tropical Seafood Ceviche, Grilled Mahi Tacos, Congri Fritters and its signature Cuban Spring Roll.
Ball & Chain will be opening every Monday and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 to 1 a.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 t0 3 a.m., and Sundays from 11 to 1 a.m. For more info make sure to check out their website here!
