Foodies in Miami Beach are about to get a true taste of Florence with the arrival of a new sandwich shop. But these are not just any ordinary sandwiches — they’re from Italy’s most famous sandwich shop, All’Antico Vinaio!
Since opening back in 1991, the family-run business has made quite the name for itself across the region…. Just take a look at its lengthy lines! It grew from locations in Florence to Milan, Rome and Turin but didn’t stop there. The Mazzanti family have brought All’antico Vinaio to U.S. locations in New York City, Los Angeles and Vegas, and are now setting up shop on Lincoln Road.
With drool-inducing sandwiches on their menu like La Paradiso (with mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio cream, pistachio) and La Favolosa (salame Toscana, pecorino cream, artichoke cream, spicy eggplant), it’s pretty easy to see why All’Antico Vinaio is so sought-after. It was even crowned one of the best sandwiches in the world by Saveur Magazine!
If you prefer to make your own, there’s an assortment of fresh vegetables, spreads, cheeses and meats to choose from as well. What’s more, each of the Florentine sandwiches are served in uniquely crispy Tuscan schiacciata bread that’s made fresh in-house! What’s not to love?
Where will Miami’s new All’Antico Vinaio location be?
The first Florida outpost of the famed sandwich shop will reside at 647 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach. No specific opening date has been announced, but it is anticipated for 2025.
