We’ve seen some pretty extraordinary mansions in Miami, but few quite like this spec home by former Los Angeles Dodger Alex Guerrero, which is currently listed for $75 million! The under-construction residence spans 10,250 square feet and resides on North Bay Road, which is known as one of the city’s most exclusive addresses thanks to its high-profile residents like the Beckhams and Cindy Crawford.
The former baseball pro played for the Dodgers from 2013 to 2016 before continuing his career in Japan. Shortly after retiring from the sport, Guerrero turned his focus on real estate development. The waterfront estate, which is set for completion next year, will have seven bedrooms, three kitchens and eight bathrooms, according to listing agent Lourdes Alatriste of Douglas Elliman. Guerrero purchased the site back in 2023 for 13.6 million, marking another major project since selling a Palm Island spec home for $17 million that same year.
Alatriste told The Wall Street Journal that the reason for the home being listed before completion is to give prospective buyers the chance to customize it to their liking.
Luxe amenities
Some of the most lavish features on the property include 110 feet of Biscayne Bay, a private dock that can accommodate a 90-foot yacht, an outdoor kitchen, infinity-edge pool, hot tub and a garage fit for a whopping 18 cars. Even more impressively, the garage is described to have a waterfall at its entrance, with sensors to stop the water as vehicles approach. Additionally, the property features an 8.01 NGVD seawall to protect from storm surge and flooding.
