After six memorable years in Edgewater, Boho Miami closed its doors over the weekend. (Note: Wynwood’s Boho House is a separate venue and remains open). But while the Tulum-inspired nightlife sanctuary has closed this chapter, something just as good is taking its place.
On September 24th, AIRE will bring a new open-air nightclub built around deep and soulful house and electronic music to the space. It’ll arrive with a newly installed bar, repositioned DJ booth, updated menu, refreshed aesthetic details and rethought approach to programming.
The team behind the concept also carries real weight in Miami’s nightlife scene. Owner Jorge Moreno is joined by Louis Puig, the creator of Club Space, along with partners Aramis Lorie, Travis Rogers and John Fortini. Between them, they cover operations, management, bookings and programming across years of local experience.
“Boho had a great six years, but the bohemian aesthetic became one of the most borrowed looks in hospitality,” said Moreno in a statement. “When a look becomes that familiar, the honest move is to stop repeating it rather than ride it down. AIRE gives the address room to evolve with a fresh identity while keeping the focus where it belongs: on the music, the energy in the room and the people who continue to show up.”
Opening weekend will line up as follows: September 24th kicks off with a public preview night featuring local talent. Gab Rhome will set the tone behind the booth on the 25th, and Steve Lawler brings his Pendulum party on the 26th.
Beginning Wednesday, September 30th, AIRE will operate Wednesdays through Saturdays for guests aged 21 and older. With a rotating calendar of resident and visiting talent, each night will take its shape from the DJ, allowing the energy to build naturally.
Wednesdays will feature collaborations with groups like Pitch Park and Afrotek, while Thursdays are dedicated to a weekly Ladies’ Night, featuring complimentary drinks for ladies until midnight and specially curated lineups.
