While Miami has no shortage of luxuries, nothing beats being able to kick back and relax with a cocktail in hand while slipping into vacation mode. This month, Ray’s Hometown Bar and Tommy Bahama are teaming up at the Freehand Miami to deliver just that!
The hotel bar and island lifestyle brand are bringing their partnership to the city for the very first time from November 9 to 15, with plenty of exclusive merch, custom cocktails and island vibes.

The space will be transformed into a sun-soaked haven with daily happy hours featuring a custom cocktail menu. You can cool off poolside with a Tommy’s Chong (gin, lemongrass, ginger, watermelon), keep it classic with the Tommy Sands (tequila, lime, agave) or try the Tommy’s Tutone (Irish whiskey, basil, cucumber, elderflower, lemon).
Marking the third year of collaboration, the takeover also features a limited capsule collection drawing inspiration from the brands’ mutual love of Miami. With teal and coral tones inspired by the city’s architecture and a cheeky new tagline, “Drink ’em with or without bait,” pieces include a Tommy Bahama silk camp shirt reimagined with Ray’s Miami graphics, a T-shirt and cap.
The drop will be available starting November 9 right at the bar or online.

Island Time at Ray’s
The main event, an Island Time celebration, takes place Thursday, November 12 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., where visitors will get first access to the merch, a cigar cutting station, specialty drinks, plenty of photo ops and a spin wheel for exclusive prizes.
If you happen to be checking in for a staycation at the Freehand during this run, Tommy Bahama is also taking over the hotel’s beach gear. Guests get complimentary access to Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas just a few steps away on the shoreline.
Special programming at the bar pop-up will run through Sunday, November 15, and you can learn more here.
