The Obsidian Room is hosting ‘House of Serpents’: A 4-cocktail dark magic comedy show

The premise: Where the bad guys run the room

We’ve all heard the story of the brave, chosen-one wizard saving the world. House of Serpents throws that narrative completely out the window.

For 90 fast-paced minutes, a cast of hilariously questionable witches and wizards welcomes you into the common room of the school’s most misunderstood house. Your instructors promise an elite magical curriculum, but their credentials—and their spellcasting—suggest otherwise.

Part biting roast, part chaotic comedy club, the show gives the franchise’s traditional “villains” the microphone to set the record straight. Expect sharp crowd work, messy rivalries, questionable house-point deductions, and faculty members who definitely never cleared a background check.

The experience: four lessons, four drinks

Your ticket covers far more than just admission. Throughout the evening, four signature themed cocktails are served table-side to match the lesson plan—including an Emerald Elixir served in a souvenir potion vial you get to take home.

Prefer alcohol-free options? Handcrafted mocktails are available upon request.
