Next month, Anatomy Fitness is bringing its signature #AnatomyHourPushUpChallenge back to Miami, inviting the community to turn their push-ups into purpose. And for the first time in the event’s history, Miami Heat Captain Bam Adebayo will team up with Heat legend Udonis Haslem to bring together two generations of basketball leadership to give back.
Taking place on Sunday, October 11, participants will push their limits and complete as many push-ups as possible in an hour, raising funds through pledges based on their final count. Supporters can also contribute by making a flat donation. Think you can take on the challenge?
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Udonis Haslem Foundation and Adebayo’s Bam, Books & Brotherhood Foundation (BBB). Since its inception, the #AnatomyHourPushUpChallenge has raised over $715,000 for local charities, drawing notable participants such as Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Heat Coach Erik Spoelstra and Duncan Robinson.

“We’ve been doing this for years now, and every year the goal is the same: raise the bar. More push-ups, more money raised and more impact in our community,” Haslem said in a statement. “And now we’ve got Bam joining us, so I’m definitely expecting him to put some numbers on the board.”
About the organizations
Haslem, who has been heavily involved with the challenge since forming “Team UD” in 2021, will have funds support the Udonis Haslem Foundation. It champions underserved children and families through initiatives focused on mental health, community accessibility and expanding socioeconomic opportunities.

Adebayo’s BBB Foundation, inspired by his own upbringing, is dedicated to uplifting single mothers and creating educational, athletic and leadership pathways for youth across South Florida and North Carolina. The player’s involvement comes on the heels of being named the 2025–26 NBA Social Justice Champion and recipient of the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Trophy for his commitment to educational equity, food security and youth development.
