With March 5th (or 3/05) right around the corner, there are bound to be endless celebrations throughout the city. From the return of the 10th annual ‘305 Day’ party at Wynwood Marketplace to a riverfront celebration at The Wharf, it’s the perfect time for us to revel in all that makes the 305 more than just an area code!
One spot that’s bringing their A-game is Oasis Wynwood with the first annual ‘305 Fest,’ which promises a day and night full of music, live art, a domino lounge and more!
Oasis is already a renowned venue for unmissable parties, performances and hospitality, and their plans set for the day are no exception. In partnership with Retro Dade, the inclusive celebration is meant to amplify the rich culture Miami holds with a goal to preserve the past while investing in the future.
Some of the many things to look forward to are pop-ups from a variety of local businesses in addition to interactive experiences ranging from a domino lounge and a cigar rolling station to a photo booth and live mural viewing. Does it get any more Miami than this?
For a blast from the past, there will also be a display of the city’s history featuring vintage photography, cars, clothing and relics that all speak to the history of the 305.
And it wouldn’t be a party without a full musical lineup! Local acts like Cool & Dre, DJ Epps and Power96‘s own DJ Zog will be spinning on the main stage all day, while welcoming surprise musical guests throughout.
The best part? The first 305 attendees will be handed a gift bag! For more information and the chance to RSVP (which is recommended through not mandatory), visit their website.
