This December, loanDepot park will swap its baseball diamond for a tennis court as it gears up to host the 2025 Miami Invitational! Set to feature some of the biggest names in the sport, this will be the first tennis event ever held at the home of the Miami Marlins and you don’t want to miss out.
Attendees can expect two exciting singles matchups, each best-of-three sets with a 10-point tiebreaker for the third set. Two of the Miami Open’s most popular stars, World No. 1 Champion Carlos Alcaraz and rising Brazilian sensation João Fonseca (No. 42), will square off in the men’s match.
“I love playing in Miami – the fans always bring incredible energy. I’m thrilled to take the court for this first-ever event at loanDepot park, with João, Amanda, and Emma,” Alcaraz shared in a statement.
The women’s exhibition match will feature South Florida resident and World No. 4 Amanda Anisimova as she faces 2021 US Open Champion and No. 32 Emma Raducanu.
“Playing in my hometown at loanDepot park with these stars is going to be incredible,” Anisimova added in a statement. “Miami always delivers the biggest events, and I can’t wait for December!”
